What actually decides a pet tracker
Battery against report rate
Every position report spends radio time. The duty-cycle design — GPS fix strategy, modem sleep, motion-triggered wake, BLE home detection — is what separates a five-day tracker from a two-day one built from the same parts.
Indoors and urban canyons
GPS fails exactly where lost pets go: under decks, in garages, between buildings. A production tracker blends GNSS, WiFi sniffing, cell LBS and BLE so the app always has an answer — the blending firmware is the product.
Cellular certification
A cellular device entering North America meets PTCRB and carrier acceptance — $16k–50k and months if you start from a bare chipset. We design on pre-certified modules, which is what keeps a white-label order weeks instead of quarters.
The SIM and data plan
A tracker without connectivity is a paperweight, and a 30-unit buyer cannot negotiate with carriers. We bundle global IoT SIMs and data plans with the hardware — and for platform customers, the plan can be yours to resell.
The animal itself
Dogs swim, dig and squeeze through fences; cats punish weight and need breakaway collars. IP67 sealing that tolerates charging contacts, mounts that hold, antennas that work against fur and body water — mechanical design causes or prevents most field returns.

Questions we are asked
What is the minimum order quantity?
30 units for a stock model with logo and white-label app. Full custom projects start around 500 units, driven by tooling amortisation. Samples are available as single units.
Is the app really included at 30 units?
Yes — the stock app is Tuya-based, so a branded build (your icon, name, colours) is configuration rather than development. App-store publishing under your developer account is part of the onboarding.
Who pays for the SIM and data?
Your choice: hardware bundled with a global IoT SIM and a data plan we manage, or your own SIMs in unlocked devices. Platform customers can resell the data plan as their own subscription.
Which markets can you certify for?
CE, FCC, RoHS and UN 38.3 are the standing path; the pre-certified module carries the radio work. Tell us the target market at the quote — bands and SIM strategy are chosen per market, not patched later.
Will you sell the product yourselves?
No. We carry no consumer brand and run no retail channel. Your market stays yours; IP terms are fixed in the contract and an NDA is signed before specifications are exchanged.
How fast is a stock order?
Logo, packaging and app branding on a stock model typically ships in 2–4 weeks depending on quantity and app-store review. Custom projects are quoted with a schedule after feasibility.
